“ We had a very nice time hosting our Book Club meeting here. It was half off wine bottle night which was a nice treat! I wish I remembered the name of the wine we chose because it was very tasty! The fried artichokes were a delicious appetizer to begin with - I haven't had them in forever! My Streats Pie was also delicious - lamb, beef, peas, carrots and mashed potatoes. So good! They were pretty busy, with only one wait staff, so we did have to wait a bit, but she was definitely working hard. It's not a big place, but it is a nice, casual spot with a unique menu to try. Check them out! ”
“ Food was really well seasoned and they had a variety of dishes to meet different cravings. I had the beet salad and the dressing was perfect. The pierogies were also amazing! ”
“ Lovely little neighborhood restaurant I stumbled on when looking for a restaurant that was open on a Monday. The waitress greeted us soon as we walked in and had great energy! The interior was very warm and inviting. Loved the Christmas music! I ordered a watermelon martini and it's was fantastic. It tasted just like a watermelon jolly rancher. My friend ordered a chocolate martini that was delicious as well. For appetizers we got the dumplings & chili lime Brussels. I enjoyed the both but thought the Brussels were lacking something. My entree was the chicken tikka masala that came with naan. The dish was well made, fresh and hot. The sauce had great flavor and the chicken was very tender. I think it could have used more spice but was well seasoned to appeal to everyone! The waitress was very attentive during our meal and was very lovely to interact with! ”
“ I always love coming to streets because the food and service are just so dang good. My favorite is the general tsos chicken bowl but they often have good specials as well. It's a small place but they make the most of it with cool artwork and comfy seats. ”
“ We spontaneously ate here on a Friday night at 7pm, glad we got here before the rush! FOOD: The Indonesian noodles were actually delicious, I'd order this again. It was a HUGE bowl of noodles. The calamari w/ marinara sauce tasted great too. I also ordered the burger and that was my least favorite :/ I wouldn't order that again. The chocolate kick was yummy and SO strong! SERVICE: The bartender and our servers were so friendly! I'd come back just to hang out with them. Next time, we'll sit at the bar to hang out with the bartender, he was so fun! LOCATION: The vibes this place has is so cool. Such a fun atmosphere! Will we come back? Yeah! The apps were good, the drinks were fun, and the vibes were immaculate. ”
“ Ambiance--chill, laid back, a tad eclectic. Service--top notch! We told our waitress it was our first time there and she offered food suggestions and checked on us often throughout our meal. Food--superb! The brussel sprouts were paired with a lime chili sauce that was out of this world. I also had the Beyond Burger. My husband had the beet salad and the spicy noodles with fried pork belly. He liked them both but said he could have just had a bowl of the fried pork belly bites because they were so flavorful. The burger was good. The bread was toasted but it was a tad too much bun for the sandwich. I remedied that an only ate one bun. It's a place that will definitely be on our RETURN list. ”
“ What a fun place to catch up with friends. The vibe here is laid-back but our the waitress was super upbeat, which made for a fun dining experience. I drove straight from my flight to StrEats and it was about a 20-minute drive from the ORF airport. Streats is located on W 21st in Norfolk and it's a bit hard to find driving at night. Luckily, I used my Google Maps to locate it. There's street parking available. We ordered a variety of dishes. The food here is like street food from around the world. I ate at another restaurant with the same concept many years ago in So Cal and that's what it reminded me of. Anyway, we had egg rolls, noodles, ahi tuna with Brussels sprouts, etc. One of my go to appetizers is Fried Calamari and, although they had it, it was the least enjoyable because there was too much batter. My favorite was their Jerk Chicken Tacos! Anyway, loved the casual ambiance at StrEats. And the service was great! ”
